Our 4-year old daughter attends the Boston Outdoor Preschool Network, which means she’s outside with her class every day from 9-12, rain or shine, including freezing and snowy weather. My wife is from Sweden (where outdoor pre-schools are popular) and they have a saying: “there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.” So for cold days, wool is the way to go. We had not tried this brand before, but were very pleased with the quality. Note: your kid may complain that it itches at first (because: wool), but if you ignore them for a few minutes or distract them, they will totally forget about it 5 minutes flat.

My four year old goes to a Forest preschool. It’s imperative that he have proper attire for all weather. We have been using a poly-like base layer. It wasn’t all that effective on its own. So I splurged (holy crap they’re expensive) and got these. They are AMAZING! He stayed warm outside in 19 degrees with this as his base layer. I wish we could buy the whole family some. I’m hoping they will last until next winter!

These are fantastic! Breathable, warm, soft and affordable. I noticed other reviewers mention that they were "scratchy." Upon arrival, they were soft, but upon washing, even by hand, they were, "prickly," as described by my lo. However, the prickliness disappeared after lanolizing them. I use Sloomb wool care products, and the process worked great.

Excellent quality, great fit and not at all scratchy. My almost 4 year old loves her purple pair. We use them as a base layer and pj's and we also have used the bottoms as extra cozy leggings under dresses. I saw some people say that theirs got scratchy after washing. I think if you use a wool wash (we use Kookaburra Wash which we buy here on Amazon) that shouldn't be a problem.

This is my second pair from this brand, ordered to keep my child warm in a mostly outdoor school setting. Our first set has lasted a couple of years, and would last several more if we didn't account for growth. I got a second pair not as a replacement, but to have an extra set. They are somehow fitted (as wool long underwear should be), but stretchy. They have just the right room for growth. I think they're accurately sized for a slim version of each age. If you're in doubt about the size, I'd advise ordering up.

My 5yr old calls these her "nice and warms" :). I love that I can put these in the dryer!! we've had them for a year and are taking them to the snow again for under her snowsuit :) She also wears them as jammies. they are made well and have held up to a 4-5yr old. I would buy them again

Love the pajamas! Our little guy wears them nonstop, sleeping and under his clothes. I feel he is sleeping better because of them too, doesn't wake as much when he throws his covers off. It's nice to know that we can put them under anything and will never be too hot or too cold. Great color and super soft! Nice to have something high quality that's made locally. Now mommy needs a pair.....

My all time favorite pajamas. I bought a 3T for my son. He wears a 2T. They are big but because of the design (tighter fit) they fit now and will continue to fit well into the next size (3T) Due to the initial investment I would recommend sizing up one size. They will fit through the current size and the next size comfortably for your child and you will get a longer wear time for your investment. Otherwise these are so soft. They make the best pajamas or baselayer for colder weather. You can wear them year round and they will keep your child comfortable. If you lanolize them they will become water resistant and help keep your child dry while playing outside or your bedding dry for those still in diapers! Literally these pajamas are a must have!

This pajama set is just amazing! I love love love it and, even more importantly, my daughter loves it, too! They're soft, well-made, and so comfy she demanded to wear them as soon as we got them out of the box. Thank you for a wonderful product for my little one!

The quality and feel of these is great. I was a little worried they’d be itchy but they aren’t at all.
