Well, I think it's false. Here, we all lie to ourselves and to others at some point - BUT being a liar is kinda different. It's not like being a murderer (commit it once and you're it); it's more like being kind, being a manipulator, etc. We all do acts of kindness sometimes, we all influence others, but doing it from times to times doesn't indicate a personality trait. Your personality is about the things you always do that defines yourself and could help predict your reaction since it's really you. E.g linked to the post: I'm not a liar, I despict lies. It's hard for me to lie and to keep up with it, damn I'm even uncomfortable with lies in TV shows and books. However, when I feel "in danger" I can tell a lie (ex: avoiding a conflict with my parents), but it's rare and uneasy. The core of my personality is that I answer honestly to questions and share every truth I feel needs to be shared (ex: once talk to a friend about the sexual tension between us)
